Students with limited or interrupted formal education (SLIFE or SIFE) have not had consistent schooling for a variety of reasons including displacement, poverty, or instability. Students may need additional support as they learn the routines and expectations of a U.S. school. Look for ways to highlight students’ achievements and accomplishments over time.
